"Turkish Aegean" is a trademark approved by the European Union. "Turkish Aegean" is a brand applied by Turkey to promote and use in a new tourism campaign. Turkey adopted the term "Turkaegean" or "Turkish Aegean". to highlight the monuments of ancient Greek in their new tourism campaign.

The turkey Campaign says that the “Aegean Region of Türkiye offers you beautiful landscapes, dazzling coastlines, immaculate beaches, pine woods, and olive groves; perfect for nature lovers, photographers, history buffs, and adrenaline junkies. Many popular holiday villages and fishing harbors are scattered up and down the coast.”

Turkey got the trademark registered through the EU Intellectual property office. Their trademark is valid until July 2031 making it possible to use the phrase in the upcoming campaigns.

A similar application has been rejected by the US which was applied by Turkey. It was rejected due to insufficient data provided such as the applicant did not specify the details, and the email address was not included in the form. A period of six months was given to the Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency to resubmit their application for the trademark "Turkaegean"
