BUDWEISER’ filed a complaint on using recycled bottles with their logo embossed. Delhi High Court Rules In Favour of 'BUDWEISER

Recycled Bottles became trademark infringement. 'Budweiser' is a well-known brand that sells beer. Recently they seek for a permanent injunction restraining  'BLACK FORT' and 'POWER COOL' from manufacturing or reselling any glass bottles with the Budweiser logo embossed.

Delhi court has restrained 'BLACK FORT' and 'POWER COOL' since the complaint was filed with pictures of glass bottles with the Budweiser logo embossed manufactured by the defendant.

The defendant explained that the bottles were sourced from kabadowalas where bottles were cleaned filled and bottled. They might have accidentally used stray bottles of 'Budweiser'.

The court said in the future, if any 'Budweiser' bottles were found coming from the defendant's factory, then the ‘Budweiser’ company may take stringent action including the claim of damages.

The defendants agreed that bottles of 'Budweiser' won't be used or manufactured or sold for their beer.

Accordingly, plaintiff agreed not to press any relief of damages.
